Cosmo’s summer party was amazing. The ticket with vat was £37.50 and my day travel card was £10.90.
First of all, me and Amber headed to Westfield in Stratford to do some shopping- well, more browsing. We had some lunch and then made our way back to Moorgate station to find our way to the event. It wasn’t too hard to find but there wasn’t any signs or anything. We were there 20mins before the gates opened and there was only about 10 people in front of us so we didn’t have to queue too long. We got stamped and had our ID checked, and upon entering we checked off our names on the list and received some vouchers including -3 cocktails -a glass of Prosecco -a food voucher.
We headed into the main part where there were several stands, Rimmel London, Soft and Gentle, Surf, Swim Freya, Gandy’s. We made an appointment to have our nails painted at the Rimmel station for 18:30pm. We wandered round and took some lovely photos and got a free goody bag from Swim Freya, it contained, a water bottle, a bright pink top and a booklet of their products.
Outside the marquee, there was a BBQ where we could get our food, an ice cream stand Choco Lait stand, and candy floss stand. I got some candy floss for free! YAY.
We went to Fleur DeForce’s talk on summer beauty, and we saw the fashion show which was amazing, the models make me so jealous! This took part in a different section under the very large marquee, there were also some other stands in here, including; – Lee Stafford and three other hair stylists, doing hair for free! And selling some products, another company which name has escaped me threading eyebrows, again for free, and a little stand selling some metallic tattoos.
Me and Amber both had our eyebrows done and then went to our nail appointment. The lady was lovely and they were showing us their new selection of Rita Ora’s collection and some other 60 seconds ones. I chose ‘Loafer Love For You’ this is a lovely bold blue and went well with my outfit. She advised me to wait 10minutes even though they said 60 seconds, which I found a bit weird. We then queued up for what felt like a lifetime for food, I had a lovely burger that they coined ‘the filthy swine’ because I didn’t have salad, just the pulled pork and sausage meat, It was soooo good! We went back inside and enjoyed our free food and drinks, while listening to Neev from Kiss FM throughout the event.
Overall, the day was lovely, although the ticket was pretty expensive, we got a lot included, food, drinks, free goodies and little treats (our eyebrows/nails done, and candy floss)
As we were signing out we received our free bag of goodies worth over £35. This made the whole trip worth the money, in my bag I got;
A bag of Surf- Tablets (as they were sponsoring the event)
Two little bottles of Bailey’s
Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray
Rimmel London Self Tan Mousse
Choco Lait lipbalm / chalk board and chalk
Soft and Gentle Antiperspirant
A sample of Perfectly Peachy bath and shower cream
Nip and Fab Body Cream
Metcalfes Popcorn- Sea Salt, which was surprisingly tasty
A bottle of Lime drink, I gave to my boyfriend
