Harlequin Attempt #3

So after my first few attempts at creating a Halloween Harlequin’s make up which I wasn’t happy with I decided to ditch the white base and try something new.

I first applied my foundation from Collection in ‘Ivory 2’, I then used my new liquid eye liner also from Collection in ‘Black Waterproof 1’, to create my sections around the eyes as even as I possibly could.

I the applied my Barry M eye crayon in ‘Black’ as well as my Eyeko fat eye stick in ‘Smoke’ to see which would apply and hold better.

I then coloured in the opposite sections in with my Mirabella velvet lip pencil in ‘Love’. I did end up extending all of them as I felt the sections were not big enough.

I also applied ‘Noir’ from my Sleek-Darks palette, to contour my face and blended it very roughly.

I then added my mascara from Miss Sporty-fabulous lash xtra black in ‘001 Extra Black’ and my David Sandler eye liner in ‘Black Velvet’ on my water line. As well as my Collection liquid eye liner as mentioned above to create a normal cat flick to bring the sections together.

I blended out the colours to make them look better and then lined my lips with No7’s precision lip pencil in ‘Fire’ and added Lush’s lipstick in ‘Desire’.

Overall, the Eyeko fat stick was better than the Barry M crayon because of the glossy, creamy finish, so it held eye shadow on top really well. I am much happier with this look and I will try to experiment a little more and try to make things look cleaner and neater too.

Here is a list of all of the products I used;
