Lush- Oil on Troubled Waters

This is a lovely bath oil from Lush, and after being pleasantly surprised with ‘Razzle Dazzle’ I thought I would try another one. I picked up ‘Oil on Troubled Waters’ from the Oxford Street store based on the intergalactic space-y colours and glitter, it reminded me of the changing night sky!

Anyway, it didn’t change the bath water dramatically, it was a lovely light purple/lavender colour which was very relaxing and the glitter wasn’t too much either which I find a problem with some products. It has a lovely smokey woody aroma, like a bonfire on a summers night. Not something I would usually go for, but I really enjoyed it. It does have a slight sweet twist though which I did not expect, this was from the mint and chamomile.

The oils were amazing and dispersed through all of the water, making skin very smooth and not greasy at all. The smell was divine, I would probably try it with ‘Think Pink’ to balance the sweet smell out a bit more.

Colour; 6/10, very light but relaxing

Fragrance; 9/10 I didn’t expect it but it was so nice, a great alternative to my usual picks

Feel on Skin; 6/10 it wasn’t amazing on the skin but it did offer lots of nourishment to the skin

    1. This one is a bath oil and is amazing quality for the price at only £2 I think. This smells gorgeous too. If you need any help picking anything let me know, and I will be happy to help as much as I can.
